FIELD: self-driving vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a device for connecting a battery and a self-driving vehicle. The self-driving vehicle contains: a battery and a battery compartment area. The battery compartment area is designed with an electrical connector. The electrical connector contains a flexible tube with a metal sleeve, with a convex round outer contact surface. The metal sleeve is made of cross-woven conductive metal threads to increase the number of electrically conductive contact points. The battery is made with an angular part on the lower edge. The first electrical connection, located on the battery housing, includes first and second electrically conductive surfaces, each of which is provided with a concave recessed channel for connection with corresponding parts of the convex contact surface of the flexible tube with the outer metal braid of the electrical connector. The first electrically conductive surface is located along a first spatial orientation of the battery housing relative to a corner portion of the lower edge of the battery. The second electrically conductive surface is located along a second spatial orientation perpendicular to the first electrically conductive surface relative to the corner portion of the lower edge of the battery.
EFFECT: improved reliability of electrical contact of the battery.
