FIELD: water-soluble product in a single dose.

SUBSTANCE: water-soluble product in a single dose used as laundry detergent product comprises a water-soluble fibrous nonwoven sheet and a granular laundry detergent composition, wherein the granular laundry detergent composition contains at least a first plurality of particles; wherein the water-soluble fibrous non-woven sheet is shaped to form a sealed inner compartment, the granular detergent composition being contained within said inner compartment; the water-soluble fibrous non-woven sheet contains a plurality of fibers; wherein the fibers comprise a polyvinyl alcohol polymer, and wherein the polyvinyl alcohol polymer has a weight average molecular weight of 70 kDa or less; the fibers contain from 0.1 wt.% to 15 wt.% of gel breaker, which is polyethylene glycol with a weight average molecular weight of 100 to 800. A method for washing fabrics is also disclosed.
