FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: design of a final drive used as an external reduction gear to increase ground clearance, improve crossability, and can be used in off-road vehicles, such as snow and swamp-going vehicles and all-terrain vehicles. The final drive for an snow and swamp-going vehicle contains a housing 1, with input 3 and output 4 shafts located in it, with a gear train including a gear 5 and a tooth gear 6 connected to the shafts. Housing 1 is flattened with protruding fasteners and equipped with an O-shaped main cover 2. Housing 1 and cover 2 are made with mounting holes 10 for installing shafts and adjusting bearings. The housing contains an axis 11 intended for coaxial installation of the output shaft, the axis is rigidly fixed in the housing, the base of the axis is covered by a protrusion 12 made in the housing. The input shaft 3 is made solid with a flange 13 and contains a gear 5, made in the form of a sleeve, mounted on the shaft, the gear is fixed to the input shaft and pressed with a nut, the gear rests on two tapered roller bearings 15 and 16, one bearing is installed in the housing 1, the other bearing is installed in the cover 2, the gear 5 is permanently connected to the tooth gear 6 to transmit rotation. The output shaft 4 is made in the form of a bushing of a transition diameter, equipped with a flat round flange 20, which performs the function of a hub, at one end of which a tooth gear made in the form of a crown is mounted and secured with screws 29; at the other end of the bushing, a flange 20 is bolted from the end, designed for installing a wheel, a flat flange with holes containing 21 studs. The output shaft is rotatably mounted on two tapered roller bearings 22 and 23, one bearing rests on the axis 11, the second bearing rests on the protrusion 12 of the housing, in which the base of the axis is fixed. The axle is equipped with a through axial channel 24, intended for supplying a gas mixture; at the outlet of the channel, with the possibility of rotation, a wheel inflation fitting 25 is installed. The input shaft is integral with a flange designed to interact with the axle through a cardan drive. The output shaft is designed to be connected via a flange to the wheel rim. The output shaft support bearing, mounted on the housing lug, is located in the same plane as the gear set.
EFFECT: expanding the scope of technical means, final drives for wheeled snow and swamp-going vehicles.
