FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: motor-wheel comprises an electric motor encapsulated in a support installed on a wheel hub, a planetary reduction gear and a brake mechanism. Support is made in the form of a cup with a bottom and an external flange. Flange of internal engagement gear of planetary reduction gear is attached to flange of the cup, which is rigidly connected to cover, which closes electric motor from external side. Internal engagement gear is made with two toothed rims of different width and is engaged with gears of the reduction gear, having the same parameters, and is installed on the wheel hub connected to the driven link of the planetary reduction gear, wheel rim disk with single tire and with tubular extension of brake disk, located with clearance above cup in wheel rim. Brake support is secured on two brackets made together with disk of rotary forked knuckle. Disk has threaded holes and a blind cylindrical hole for centring the cup on the cylindrical protrusion made on the outer side of its bottom, which is attached to the rotary knuckle disk connected to the front axle beam of the vehicle. Braking mechanism bracket with brake chamber, having possibility of limited axial movement and enclosing support and brake disk from outside, is located partially in the wheel rim vertically in front of the rotary forked knuckle made with platforms having threaded holes for fixation of control levers.
