SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the control section. The method for compensating the influence of the mechanical gap on the operation of the servo electric drive consists in preliminarily measuring the size of the gap between the angular movements of the electric motor shaft and the working body shaft, measuring the angular movement of the working body shaft, comparing it with a given value, measuring the angular movement of the electric motor shaft, the angular movement of the working body shaft is recalculated taking into account the gear ratio of the mechanical part, the angular movement of the working body shaft is brought to the electric motor shaft, the upper and lower limits of changes in the module of the angular movement of the electric motor shaft are set, when the electric motor shaft reaches the upper limit, its module is reduced stepwise to the lower limit with a simultaneous decrease in the module angular displacement of the working body shaft by the same amount, the converted angular displacements are obtained, their difference is determined, compared with the gap value, the state of the gap is assessed, and an additional control action is formed on the electric motor through the power converter.
EFFECT: creation of a method for compensating the influence of the mechanical gap on the operation of the servo electric drive, ensuring increased accuracy of position control.
