SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the repair of freight cars. The device comprises a clamp in the form of a frame, in one part of which there is a power compartment with an electromechanical drive located in it. In another part of the frame, middle and outer fixed transverse beams and a load screw are installed. The screw interacts with one end of the electromechanical drive, and the other end with the bearing assembly of the middle transverse beam. The bearing assembly ensures the transmission of axial loads in two directions. On the threaded part of the cargo screw, a movable beam is configured for reciprocating movement, at the ends of which the rods are fixed. A movable jaw is attached to the outer ends of the rods. The fixed transverse beams are equipped with guide bushings that interact with the rods. A fixed jaw is attached to the frame on the opposite side of the power compartment.
