FIELD: water treatment.
SUBSTANCE: methods and devices for purifying industrial and natural waters from iron and manganese by oxidizing impurities with ozone followed by filtration. The method involves treating water with ozone by mixing water and ozone in an ejector. Water and ozone are then mixed in a static mixer. Next, the water is sent to a settling tank to settle the sediment. From the settling tank, water is sent for filtration using at least one disk filter with a filtration rating of at least 20 microns. Then tangential microfiltration of water is carried out using the cross-flow method.
EFFECT: advanced reagent-free water purification is ensured while minimizing costs for the cleaning process and equipment maintenance.
