FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates namely to a method for thermal insulation and sound insulation of a geodesic dome. The method of thermal insulation and sound insulation of a geodesic dome consists in the fact that after assembling and installing a rigid dome frame, including rods forming through cells, the tops of which are connectors connected to the rods with detachable connections, the dome is pulled on the inside of the frame and secured to the protruding parts of the detachable connections of the connectors, the basis for the first and second insulation, and studs are installed in the central parts of the connectors. Then, the first insulation material is applied over the base in the places of the connectors, along the rods and in the place of the formed cells so that the connectors and rods are in the layer of the first insulation. Installation of the second insulation is carried out on top of the first insulation with the possibility of top fixation of studs to stabilize and prevent detachment of the first and second insulation during operation.
EFFECT: increasing the thermal insulation characteristics of the dome.
