FIELD: coke ovens.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the design of a coke oven and to a combustion method with segmented heating based on the design of a coke oven. The coke oven structure contains a furnace roof, combustion chambers, coking chambers, a gas outlet zone, regenerative chambers and small chimneys. Combustion chambers and coking chambers are located alternately. Regeneration chambers are located below both the combustion and coking chambers. The combustion chambers communicate with the regenerative chambers through gas outlet channels. Each combustion chamber contains a vertical fire channel. Coal gas outlets in a plurality of segments and air outlets in a plurality of segments are located in the vertical fire channel in the height direction, and the bottom surface of the coking chambers is higher than the bottom surface of the combustion chambers corresponding to the opening of the gas outlet channel.
EFFECT: providing heat to the bottom of the coking chambers to eliminate the risk of formation of untreated coke.
