SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a device for securing a plinth covering a connecting seam between a wall and a floor covering. A device is proposed for fastening a plinth covering a connecting seam between a wall and a floor covering with a holder forming a wall shelf, which has at least one holding rib protruding in the upward direction and engaging in a plinth groove open in the downward direction for installation with a plinth clamp, and with two expansion arms mounted on the side of a wall shelf, protruding towards the end side of the floor covering, made like a flat spring, wherein the holder has a cut-out from the wall shelf, limited by a lower edge located on the floor side and two outgoing from this lower edge with lateral edges there is a wall projection, the lower edge of which is equipped with grips protruding in the direction of the wall, and the wall projection with a gap in height relative to the lower edge has a stop spout for the plinth protruding from the wall shelf.

EFFECT: device for fastening a plinth covering a connecting seam between a wall and a floor covering using simple structural means in such a way that, despite installation without the use of tools, it is possible to prevent the holder coming out of the connecting seam when the plinth is mounted
