SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to construction, namely to joint plinths with floor coatings. Technical result is achieved by the fact that elastic fixing element for removable connection of plinth with floor coating contains first arm to be placed under floor covering, second arm to be arranged above floor covering and to be engaged with plinth, and a connecting surface integrating the first arm with the second arm, wherein the fixing member further comprises at least one resilient thrust member arranged in the inner space between the arms, wherein at least one resilient thrust member is configured to receive a first position in which it is compressed and locked so that it lies along the connecting surface and a second position in which it extends into said inner space, wherein the fixing element comprises at least one engagement means to lock the thrust member in its first position and release the thrust member into its second position, technical result is achieved by plinth fixing system, which contains plinth and such resilient fixing element.

EFFECT: stronger fixation of plinth against wall.
