FIELD: recycling strings.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for recycling composite strings, in particular racket strings. The method includes a string type identification step S0 and at least one component separation step including one or other of the following steps S1, S2, S3, S4, as defined below: S1 - mechanical separation stage, S2 - chemical separation stage, S3 - thermal separation stage, S4 - biological separation stage. The S0 identification step for a string involves providing a cross section, taking magnified photographs, and analysing groups of strands to classify them among the following types: single multi-strand, multi-core and multi-strand, multi-core and multi-cladding, multi-core and single cladding. The present method is related to the green circular economy regarding string processing, which involves the use of polluting waste by converting its composition into a secondary resource.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible not to throw strings into residual household waste; as a result, they no longer end up in the environment, but are recycled thanks to technical solutions for local disposal or processing of collected waste.
