FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates primarily to car industry, in particular, for tyre production. Strengthened rubber material represents rubber, where a fibrous layer is introduced. Fibrous layer comprises uniaxially extended ribbon elements, having rectangular cross section, and at least one the first layer characterized by extent of drawing by at least approximately 5, with a module of at least approximately 2 GPa, with density of at least 0.85 g/cm3. The first layer contains polymer selected from the group made of polyamide, polyester and their copolymers. Also methods are disclosed for strengthening of rubber material.
EFFECT: increased strength of rubber-containing cloths and accordingly tyres.
