FIELD: seismic exploration.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to search for promising objects for production of occluded and free hydrocarbon gas in methane-coal fields. Field seismic works are planned. Seismic information is recorded onto a digital medium in two sets: in form of correlograms and vibrograms, using a linear control signal. Navigation files and sweep files of the first and second harmonics are generated. The initial sweep is isolated and the sweeps of the first and second harmonics are simulated. Geometry is assigned to the original vibrograms. The initial vibrograms are correlated with sweeps of the first and second harmonics. Time sections of the first and second harmonics are obtained. The flows of the first and second harmonics are processed separately. The final time and depth sections of the first and second harmonics are obtained. A composite section of the first and second harmonics is created. The resulting composite time section is migrated and the results are interpreted with the construction of a geological-structural model.
EFFECT: creation of a detailed image of deep geological boundaries of the lower part of the seismic section.
