FIELD: fibreboard.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing fibreboard, which can be used, for example, as a building material or furniture material, as well as fibreboard. The fibreboard manufacturing method of the present invention includes the following steps: wood pulp crushing step 1; stage 2 of carpet formation and stage 3 of hot pressing. In the wood pulp crushing step 1, the water-dispersed wood pulp is ground between opposing knives so as to obtain a plant-based fibrous material having a D50 particle size of 50 to 110 mcm and a grinding degree of 150 to 300 ml and containing an adhesive component. In stage 2 of carpet formation, the carpet is formed from plant-based fibrous material. The fibreboard is formed from the carpet in step 3 of hot pressing the carpet through the process of plasticizing the adhesive component contained in the carpet.

EFFECT: providing a fibreboard manufacturing method suitable for efficiently producing a fibreboard in which warping is eliminated, and providing a fibreboard produced by the fibreboard manufacturing method.
