FIELD: filters.

SUBSTANCE: filter cartridge used inside the water tank of a household appliance, such as a beverage machine, in particular – a coffee maker. The filter cartridge has a housing, the wall of which separates the inner side of the housing from the outer side of the housing, and the presence of an inlet hole that is open during operation of the filter cartridge into the environment surrounding the housing is provided. Downstream of the filter inlet, relative to the direction of water flow during operation, there is a device for supplying water to the interior of the filter housing, which includes at least one filter chamber provided with at least one filter medium, and ends in a filter outlet line for draining water from the filter cartridge, and at the same time the presence of a connecting fitting with an annular sealing surface is provided for connecting the filter cartridge to the water reservoir. Within the sealing surface, a guide structure is provided on the filter side located separate from the sealing surface to receive the centring member for centring the filter cartridge. The filter-side guide structure forms a filter cartridge outlet line, which is located downstream of the filtration section. The water tank has a bottom, on which there is an annular sealing surface for sealing the filter cartridge, which surrounds a through hole of the tank for flowing water from the filter cartridge through the wall of the bottom of the tank into the household appliance. A centring member is provided inside the sealing surface of the container, protruding from the bottom of the container in the direction of the mounting position of the filter cartridge, for insertion into the guide structure on the filter side. The centring member is provided with at least one passage hole for water from the filter cartridge through a guide structure on the filter side of the inserted filter cartridge into the through hole of the reservoir.

EFFECT: effective fixation of the filter in the tank.
