FIELD: underground; open-pit and construction geotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: method consists of drawing reference points inside and outside the outline of the annular unloading slot on the surface of the rock mass under study, driving the said annular unloading slot, and measuring the radial displacements of the reference points. Additionally, the tangential displacements of the reference points are measured, the functional dependences of the radial and tangential displacements of the reference points on the outline coordinate of the specified annular unloading slot are determined, and from them, by solving the 2nd boundary value problem of the theory of elasticity, the stress-strain state is determined at the place of core formation, as well as the displacements of the reference points on the internal and the outer boundary of the outline of the annular unloading slot, from them the displacements of the boundary of the excavation under consideration are found, and from the displacements of this boundary, by solving the Cauchy problem, the stress-strain state of the entire rock mass is determined.
EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of determining the stress-strain state in the core and the entire rock mass by reducing the number of reference points whose displacements are measured, while reducing the total number of measurements and changing the shape of the annular unloading slot.
