FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining, namely to unloading of the salt rock mass in junctions of mine workings, particularly of the junctions of shafts with level workings. Method of protection of junctions of vertical shafts with mine workings in the salt rocks is based on formation of coupled vertical unloading fissures in the country rocks. The unloading fissures form junctions from the opposite sides of the protected area at the distance of 0.8-2.0 diametres of the shaft from the face-end support. The unloading fissures are made continuous and their width and height correspond to the sizes of the protected area of the junction.
EFFECT: improved unloading efficiency.
