FIELD: heating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: room air heater contains two identical pipes of circular cross-section located horizontally and connected in series to each other by a vertical smoke pipe nozzle attached to the side surfaces of the pipes. In this case, the lower pipe is a combustion chamber, and the upper pipe is an afterburning chamber for the released flammable gases. The pipes together with the pipe nozzle form a U-shaped gas path. The upstream end of the top pipe is connected to a curved outlet pipe nozzle welded on top. The pipe nozzle, in turn, is connected by an inclined chimney to the exit from the heated room. The chimney is located at an angle α=20-25° relative to the location of the afterburning chamber housing. The combustion chamber has a bottom, which is a grate with holes or transverse narrow slots in the form of arcs for the passage of air. The bottom is made in the form of a gutter, below which there is an ash pan in the form of a drawer. On the side surfaces of the round pipes, there are vertical suspended steel pipes rigidly connected by a weld, having a rectangular cross-section in which air-conducting channels are made. At least three vertical pipes are fixed on each side of the side surfaces. The vertical pipes are placed with a lower end with a gap above the floor of the room, and the upper ends of the vertical pipes, protruding above the surface of the upper horizontal round pipe, are made tapering at the top.
EFFECT: simplified design is achieved while maintaining the efficiency of convective heat transfer from the walls of the round pipes of the housing, improving manufacturability and maintainability of the furnace.
