FIELD: medicinal chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions concerns a composition containing ginsenoside Rg3 and ginsenoside Rg5, a method of its preparation, as well as its use in the production of medicines, food products and health products intended to enhance immunity. The method of obtaining the composition includes the following steps: (1) mixing Panax ginseng with traditional Chinese medicine medicinal materials; (2) preparing a decoction of the mixture obtained in step (1) in water several times, and then collecting and combining the decoctions; (3) adding a clarifying agent to the decoction obtained in step (2), thoroughly mixing, infusing and filtering; (4) drying the filtrate prepared in step (3) obtaining a dry matter; (5) adding an ethanol aqueous solution to the dry substance obtained in step (4), heating until dissolved, filtering and performing a low-temperature crystallization process; (6) drying the crystals obtained in step (5). The medicinal materials of traditional Chinese medicine are selected from groups consisting of one or more of the following medicinal products: turmeric rhizome, arizema with bile and stem root, and the mass ratio of panax ginseng and medicinal materials of traditional Chinese medicine is from 1:100 to 100:1. The following is also provided: a composition for enhancing immunity, containing a composition obtained by the above method and a pharmaceutically acceptable or edible carrier, as well as the use of the above composition in the preparation of medicinal products for enhancing immunity, and a method for enhancing immunity, including administering an effective amount of such composition to an individual in need thereof.
EFFECT: composition according to the invention is highly effective in increasing immunity; the method of its preparation is simple and suitable for industrial production.
