SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a lid assembly for a refillable container and a refillable system associated with it. Lid assembly (200) includes inner wall (202), outer wall (204), connecting wall (212), and closure element (208). Inner wall (202) defines tube (203) extending through lid assembly (200) and includes protrusion or rib (216) extending radially inward from the inner surface of inner wall (202). Outer wall (204) surrounds inner wall (202) along the first portion of its length. Outer wall (204) is spaced from the first portion of inner wall (202) to define circumferential cavity (214a, 214b) between inner and outer walls (202, 204). Connecting wall (212) extends between inner and outer walls (202, 204). Closure element (208) is configured to seal tube (203) and includes upstream and downstream sides (208a,208b) and support surface (220) on its downstream side. Closure element (208) is sealed to inner wall (202) by peripheral frangible connection (210).
