SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a plug for use in a lid assembly of a refillable container. Technical result is achieved by plug (300) for use in a lid assembly of a refillable container, which comprises tubular body (302) with an open near end and an open far end. At that, the open proximal end is surrounded by first rim (304), which contains at least the first and second projections (307). At that, proximal surface of ledges forms thrust surface (305) to thrust against support surface (220) of fragile sealing component of cover assembly. At that, thrust surface (305) passes in plane perpendicular to longitudinal axis (A) of tubular body (302). Skirt extending around tubular body (302) and comprising tubular wall (306) of the skirt, located coaxially relative to tubular body (302). Skirt wall (306) is spaced from tubular housing (302) in radial direction to form recess (308) in plug between skirt wall (306) and tubular housing (302). Plug (300) comprises flange (310) projecting outwards, having thrust surface (312) for the stop of rim (406) of refilled vessel (400). Thrust surface (305) has double-sided symmetry of rotation relative to longitudinal axis (A). At that, free end of wall (306) of skirt additionally contains near sealing rim (318) for tight abutment to sealing surface (212) of cover assembly (200).
