SUBSTANCE: barrel launcher for a plurality of projectiles contains electrical contacts for each projectile, isolated from the barrel wall, holes for installing knockout plugs for fixing the projectile in the barrel, additional electrical contacts for programming through them from an external control unit of the electronic control unit for protecting and detonating the electric detonator of the projectile warhead. A barrel launcher projectile containing a propellant charge, an electric detonator of the propellant charge, and annular electrical contacts installed on insulators in annular grooves in the bottom part. Each projectile has a contact sensor that detects its contact with the protective plug following the projectile, and the ring electrical contacts are split along the perimeter. A method of placing projectiles in a barrel launching device, in which the projectiles are tightly placed along the axis in the barrel of the device with the possibility of connecting them with propellant charges. Each projectile from the specified set of projectiles is installed with an emphasis in a protective plug, which is in direct contact with the walls of the barrel and provides protection for the subsequent projectile from the effects of combustion products of the propellant charge of the previous projectile.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability, safety and performance of the barrel launcher when sequentially launching weapons, expanding the range of weapons used.
