SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fungicidal plant protection products. The pesticide composition contains elemental sulfur in the range from 1% by weight to 95% by weight of the entire composition, flupyradifurone in the range from 0.01% by weight to 70% by weight of the entire composition and at least one agrochemically acceptable auxiliary substance. The pesticide composition contains particles ranging in size from 0.1 microns to 50 microns. The pesticide composition is presented in solid or liquid or gel form. The solid pesticide composition is presented in the form of water-dispersible granules, water-disintegrating granules, or dispersible granules, or spheronized granules, or wettable powder. The liquid pesticide composition is presented in the form of a flowable concentrate or liquid suspension. The pesticide composition is used in a method of controlling insect pests.

EFFECT: proposed pesticide composition is effective, does not cause resistance in the target pest, has an improved toxicological profile, and does not require high application doses.
