FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention related to bases or frames made from a mineral-polymer composite (polymer concrete). When manufacturing a polymer concrete base for a machine, a prefabricated mold for a polymer concrete base made of thin sheet steel with external stiffeners is used. In the specified form, embedded elements are installed to interface the base with parts and/or working units of the machine and are connected to the mentioned elements of the steel reinforcement loops. The polymer concrete mixture is prepared on the basis of furan-epoxy resin and polyethylene-polyamine hardener, poured and vibrated into the mold, the mixture is treated by volumetric curing, then the mold is disassembled and the polymer concrete base is removed.
EFFECT: improvement of manufacturability of the process of manufacturing polymer concrete frames while simultaneously ensuring high strength characteristics of the resulting bases.
