SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to determine the volume of residual adrenal tissue after resection of pheochromocytoma. The patient undergoes a CT scan of the abdominal cavity and retroperitoneal space, and downloads CT images in DICOM format. Then, using the U-net convolutional neural network, image segmentation, visualization, mask creation, calculation of the volume of the adrenal gland and tumour, image processing and subsequent calculation of the volume of residual adrenal tissue are carried out, taking into account the surgical margin of 3 mm.
