FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to aircraft engineering and is intended for development of medium- and long-range passenger aircraft with cruising speed in the range of M=0.8–0.85. Long-haul aircraft comprises fuselage of oval cross-section, engines, wing, turboprop engines of high bypass ratio are installed on pylons under wing, wing is located on middle line of fuselage, is made with single leading edge without break, with sweep χ=28÷35°, relative thickness of side profile of centre section, having value of 25÷30% at distance of 10–20% of wing span.

EFFECT: studies have shown that using the proposed configuration will increase the lift coefficient of Su by 1–4% and increase the fuel efficiency by 5–10%, and, as a result, to reduce harmful emissions into atmosphere due to installation of engines of higher bypass degree.
