FIELD: aviation equipment.
SUBSTANCE: mainline aircraft comprises fuselage of oval cross-section, engines of high bypass ratio, wing located on middle line of fuselage, consisting of centre section and consoles, made with single leading edge without break, with sweep χ=28÷35°. At the same time relative thickness of side profile of centre section is 31÷35%, at distance of 10-22% of the wing span, on the wing there is a crescent-shaped tip making 15% of the wing area.
EFFECT: use of the proposed layout will increase the value of the aerodynamic quality coefficient K by 6-8% and the better fuel efficiency by 5-15% and, as a result, reduction of harmful emissions into atmosphere due to installation of engines of higher bypass ratio.
