FIELD: security markers.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to security markers that make it difficult to counterfeit valuable products and documents. A protective marker is proposed that contains a glassy matrix containing at least silicon and oxygen, and the first crystalline phase formed by crystalline particles included in said matrix, where the particles are feldspars or feldspathides with an average particle size of less than 500 nm, where there is a border between crystalline particles and glassy matrix; and where the crystalline particles consist of aggregates or agglomerates of nanoparticles having an average size of 1-50 nm; and wherein the crystalline particles of the first crystalline phase are formed from a material selected from the group consisting of orthoclase, sanidine, microcline, anorthoclase, albite, oligoclase, andesine, labradorite, banalsite, bytownite, anorthite, leucite, nepheline, analcime, cancrinite, hauin, lapis lazuli, nazean, petalite, sodalite and their combinations. Also proposed is a method for obtaining a security marker, the use of a security marker for authentication of security elements, security documents, security products or valuable items, a security document, a security product, a security element and a valuable item, as well as methods for obtaining and methods for determining the authenticity of a security product, a security document, protective element and valuable item.
EFFECT: proposed security marker has a new, improved composition that makes it difficult to counterfeit valuable items and documents.
