FIELD: measuring technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to measure torque on a continuously rotating shaft, mainly a stepper motor. The stepper motor under test is installed on the base of the device coaxially with the load stepper motor. In this case, the test motor and the load motor are electrically connected to drivers, which are connected to a two-pole DC power supply and control buses are connected to a programmable microcontroller, connected and controlled by a personal computer. Moreover, the shafts of the test and the load electric motors are mechanically connected to each other through an elastic coupling, the driving and the driven coupling halves of which have angular velocity sensors of the coupling halves, electrically connected by outputs through a logical device with a programmable microcontroller. In this case, the stepper motor under test is connected by the driver to the power source so that the direction of rotation of its shaft coincides with the direction of rotation of the shaft of the load stepper motor.
EFFECT: expansion of the range of powers and rotation frequencies of the tested stepper motors.
