SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary pharmacy, particularly to preparations for treating and preventing neurological pathologies in animals. Antioxidant preparation for treating and preventing neurological pathologies in animals includes components in the following ratio, wt.%: 3-oxypyridine derivative, which is methylethylpyridinol hydrochloride 0.8–1.2, 2-oxo-1-pyrrolidineacetamide 7.0–11.0, pyridoxine hydrochloride 0.24–0.32, riboflavin mononucleotide 0.018–0.038, polyvinylpyrrolidone 2.5–4.5, water for injections is the rest.
EFFECT: proposed antioxidant preparation for treatment and prevention of neurological pathologies in animals has pronounced antioxidant, antihypoxant, cerebroprotective and neurotrophic action, low toxicity and high efficacy in preventing and treating neurological diseases in animals, stability of the dosage form, ease of administration and dosage.
