FIELD: railway engineering.

SUBSTANCE: used for remote control of the braking processes of a train with locomotive traction. A brake valve with remote control of an automatic pneumatic brake contains a housing with a cover and a handle that interacts with a spool located in the cover, an equalizing piston and a release valve installed in the housing, and a controller. The valve body is equipped with a reducer and a stabilizer for the rate of overcharging pressure elimination, fittings for connecting the supply and brake lines, a fitting for connecting the equalization tank, as well as the main attachment mounted between the valve and gearbox housings and an additional attachment mounted between the valve and stabilizer housings. The main attachment of the valve consists of a body with a flange on which electro-pneumatic valves for supercharge pressure, release, and brakes are mounted, designed to implement the “Charge and Release”, “Release Action (Train)”, “Service Braking” modes. The attachment is designed with a backup mode. Electro-pneumatic valves are pneumatically connected to the channels of the valve and gearbox, and electrically connected through an electrical connector to the power source and electrical circuit of the locomotive. The additional attachment consists of a housing with a flange, on which two electro-pneumatic valves are mounted designed to implement the “Lapping without Power” and “Lapping with Power” modes without affecting the brake valve handle, two board modules and an electrical connector, and a check valve is integrated inside the case. The equalization tank is connected through an electro-pneumatic valve and a calibrated orifice to the atmosphere to ensure slow discharge of the brake line. The brake line is connected through an electro-pneumatic valve to the atmosphere with a cross-section that ensures the discharge of the brake line at the rate of emergency braking.

EFFECT: providing the brake valve with remote control of an automatic pneumatic brake with position Va (slow discharge of the brake line) and position VI (emergency braking).
