FIELD: measurement.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in information-measuring systems for monitoring temperature, humidity and salt content in different soil layers. Capacitive sensor for soil electrical properties monitoring systems comprises measuring system 1, radio transmitting system 2, stainless steel pipe 3 equipped with plugs, flange 4 made of plastic, n round electrodes 5 of different length, made of stainless steel, n temperature sensors 6, n heat shrinkable tubes 7, wherein flange 4 with inner cavity is fixed on outer cavity of pipe 3 in its upper part, electrodes 5 are fixed in the mounting holes of flange 4 and each connected to the corresponding inputs of measuring system 1, pipe 3 in upper part is connected to common wire of measuring system 1, along the inner cavity of pipe 3 there are temperature sensors 6 connected to measuring system 1 by means of a communication line passing through the upper plug of pipe 3, heat-shrinkable tubes 7 are fixed on electrodes 5, which in the lower part are made in the form of pointed cones, which are not covered with heat-shrinkable tubes 7.

EFFECT: broader functional capabilities of the capacitive sensor, namely: the proposed sensor enables to measure the components of the impedance of the soil, which provides information on the dielectric properties and electrical resistance of the soil, which is necessary for more accurate measurement of soil moisture and salt content.
