FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to reinforcing bars of strength class 550 N/mm2 for reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures. Reinforcing bar has a chemical composition containing the following elements, wt.%: carbon 0.18–0.24, silicon 0.10–0.84, manganese 0.42–1.30, phosphorus 0.016–0.025, sulfur 0.011–0.023, nitrogen 0.007–0.011, copper 0.18–0.27, molybdenum 0.009–0.029, chrome 0.100–0.200, nickel 0.091–0.156, arsenic 0.005–0.021, tin 0.008–0.019, lead 0.001–0.019, iron – the rest.
EFFECT: improves steel resistance to corrosion cracking.
