FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rebar used for reinforcing concrete structures. Reinforcing steel has a chemical composition comprising the following elements, in wt.%: carbon 0.24, silicon 0.85, manganese 1.35, phosphorus 0.055, sulphur 0.055, nitrogen 0.013, copper 0.60, molybdenum 0.05, chromium 0.30, nickel 0.25, arsenic not more than 0.08, tin not more than 0.05, lead not more than 0.03, the rest is iron.
EFFECT: rolled products are highly resistant to corrosion cracking, including stress-corrosion cracking, with a guaranteed yield strength of at least 550 N/mm2.
