FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: accelerometer contains a metal body with six cylindrical rods. Three single central axes of symmetry of pairs of opposite rods are mutually perpendicular and intersect at one point. Three piezoelectric elements with their inertial masses are located on three mutually perpendicular axles of permissible nominal diameter and are equidistant from the intersection point. Three single central axes of symmetry of the body coincide with both the corresponding central axes of symmetry of the inertial masses, piezoelectric elements and trunnions, and with the sensitivity axes of the piezoelectric elements. The inertial mass is located outside, and the trunnion is located inside the piezoelectric element.

EFFECT: reduction in the number of defective products, the possibility of fixing (re-fixing) the piezoelectric accelerometer on mutually perpendicular surfaces of the test object without changing the position of the accelerometer in space.
