FIELD: measurement technology, measurement of vibrations and accelerations in various fields of science and technology. SUBSTANCE: proposed piezoelectric accelerometer has ring polarized piezoelement located between inertial mass and case which are joined along axis with the aid of threaded joint. Ring piezoelement polarized in radial direction is used in the capacity of piezoelement and metal electrodes are deposited on external and internal side surfaces of ring piezoelement. Employment of proposed accelerometer makes it possible to enhance its sensitivity and to simplify process of its manufacture.
