FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a tool for rolling an internal conical thread. Tool comprises a shank, a cone-shaped mandrel, a freely rotating deforming element installed inside the mandrel. Deforming element is made in the form of double roller with different diameters. Distance between tops of double roller is equal to pitch of internal conical thread. Diameter of the roller, having larger diameter is equal to D=d+2P·tgα, where d is the diameter of the roller having a smaller diameter, P is the pitch internal conical thread, α—angle of inclination of sides of cone of internal conical thread.
EFFECT: as a result, the conical internal thread is knurled with less profile error.
