FIELD: pulp and paper industry.

SUBSTANCE: production of paper which has improved dispersion in water and can be used in those areas where rapid dissolution or dispersion of the substrate in water is required during its technical use or after for the purpose of disposal. The method involves production of paper from paper pulp, including fibrous carboxymethylcellulose in a water-insoluble form. A solution of alkali metal salts, and/or potassium oxide hydrate, and/or sodium oxide hydrate is applied to the resulting paper web, and the solution additionally contains disodium salt of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid in an amount of 5-30 wt.% of the alkali metal salts, and/or oxide hydrate potassium, and/or sodium hydroxide.

EFFECT: improved stability of solutions during processing of paper webs on paper-making machines and production of paper with good dispersion in water.
