SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in multichannel systems for encoding and collecting analogue information. Disclosed is a multichannel analogue-to-digital converter, consisting of several channel stages, the number of which is equal to the number of served channels, and a common control part for the entire converter, comprising a clock pulse generator, two R-S-mode triggers, counters of the most significant and least significant digits of the balancing signal, a digital-to-analogue converter, a subtracting device, a buffer register, five AND elements, an OR element, and each channel stage consists of two analogue switches, a subtractor, a sampling-storage device, a comparator, a counter of the most significant bits of the channel code, three univibrators, a pulse generator, four AND elements, three-input OR element and connections between them.
EFFECT: faster operation of the analogue-to-digital converter.
