FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to polypropylene compositions. Disclosed is a polypropylene composition for stabilizing a polymer article against oxidative, thermal or light-induced decomposition, containing components A), B), C) and D), where component A) is a hindered amine light stabilizer selected from the group consisting of compounds of formula (AI-1), wherein a1 is from 2 to 10, (AI-3), wherein 1 is from 2 to 10, (A-III-1), where R3 and R4 are C1-C22alkyl, and (A-IV-1), where R5 independently represent hydrogen or propoxy, component B) is natural or synthetic hydrotalcite, component C) is a phenolic antioxidant selected from the group, consisting of 1,3,5-tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)-2,4,6trimethylbenzene, ethylene-bis[3,3-bis(3-tert-butyl-4hydroxyphenyl)butyrate], 1,3,5-tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)isocyanurate and 6-[3-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl)propoxy]2,4,8,10-tetra-tert-butyldibenzo [d,f][1,3,2]dioxaphosphepine, and component D) is at least one compound selected from the group consisting of phosphites, phosphonites, hydroxylamines, vitamin E and vitamin E acetates, and where the weight ratio of component A) and component B) is from 1:10 to 10:1.
EFFECT: reducing the harmful effect of the oxidative medium of the polypropylene composition by increasing the oxidative induction time of OIT.
