SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an article in the form of a pipe, cable or geomembrane containing polyethylene or polypropylene, components (A), (B), (C) and (D) and hydrotalcite, where component (A) is a compound of formula (A-I-1) , where E₁ is , E₂ is , wherein 1 is number from 2 to 10, component (B) is magnesium hydroxide, which is present in amount of 0.01 % to 5 wt. % based on the weight of polyethylene or polypropylene, component (C) is 1,3,5-tris(3,5-di-tert-butyl-4-hydroxybenzyl)-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene and component (D) is tris[2,4-di-tert-butylphenyl]phosphite, and the weight ratio of component (A) to component (B) is from 1:50 to 50:1, provided that component (B) is not hydrotalcite.

EFFECT: stabilization of articles made from polyethylene or polypropylene subjected to oxidative, thermal or light-induced decomposition.
