SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary medicine, in particular to a device for detecting ectoparasites during rapid diagnosis of ectoparasites in animals, and can be used in veterinary science in agricultural and small domestic animals. Claimed device for detecting and identifying ectoparasites in animals includes a frame, on the sides of which there are runners for movement of brackets, wherein the brackets are fixed by a bar, and a high-resolution camera with a micro-lens with magnification of 2,000 times, and a bright light-emitting diode lamp are fixed on the bar by means of a fixing device. Also, a storage battery with capacity of 4,000 mA∙h, hard disk 9 and a Wi-Fi unit with a coverage area of 5 m are fixed on the frame by a rigid fixation. At that, camera and LED lamp are connected by electric circuit and camera by means of connecting wire transmits information to hard disk, where it can be temporarily stored, and then transmitted from the hard disk to the Wi-Fi unit through a data transmission line, after which the information is transmitted to a laptop using Wi-Fi.

EFFECT: high rapidness and quality of the study, as well as improved qualitative characteristics of identifying ectoparasites in animals due to the mobility of the device used.
