A pyrethroid-based medicine for the protection of animals from ectoparasites contains deltamethrin, diflubenzuron, piperonyl butoxide, butylhydroxytoluene, butylhydroxyanisole and diethylene glycol monoethyl ether with the following ratio of ingredients, mg/ml: deltamethrin 6.75-8.25, diflubenzuron 2.7-3.3, piperonyl butoxide 1.35- 1.65, butylhydroxytoluene 0.045-0.055, butylhydroxyanisole 0.09-0.15, monoethyl ether of diethylene glycol up to 1 ml.

EFFECT: above-mentioned medicine is safe, stable during manufacture and storage, has high insecticidal and repellent efficacy, long-term protective effect against ectoparasites, prevents the process of replenishing their population by reducing the number of viable individuals and thereby contributes to reducing stress levels and increasing the productivity of animals.
