FIELD: electroplating.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in implant surgery in the manufacture of orthopedic implants and cardiovascular stents used in a corrosive medium containing chloride ions, in particular in tissues and tissue fluid of the human body, in blood plasma. Method includes plasma electrolytic oxidation of magnesium alloy in aqueous electrolyte containing calcium glycerophosphate, sodium fluoride and sodium silicate, in pulsed bipolar mode at voltage 380–400 V during anodic polarization of oxidised surface and in galvanodynamic mode during its cathodic polarization, when the current density changes in range of 1.3–0.7 A/cm2, with a total oxidation time of 110–130 s and a duty cycle of the polarizing signal equal to 1, to obtain a ceramic-like base PEO coating and its subsequent treatment in a single step in solution containing 12–16 g/l of corrosion inhibitor 8-oxyquinoline and 5–7 wt.% of bioresorbable polymer of polycaprolactone in dichloromethane.
EFFECT: improved anticorrosion properties and wear resistance of the obtained coatings, reduced time consumption for implementation of the method, reduced number of working and preparatory operations and reduced consumption of reagents.
