SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hair growth agent and a method of using it. Hair growth agent represents a composition consisting of the following ingredients with the following components ratio, wt.%: holy thistle oil 18–27; safflower oil 20–24; wheat germ oil 14–18; castor oil 8–12; amaranth oil 2–6; grape seed oil 2–4; sweet almond oil 2–3; bladder wrack oil extract 5–8; oil extract of burdock root 4–7; oil extract of calamus root 4–7; oil extract of chamomile 3–5; oil extract of nettle leaf 2–4; rosemary essential oil 0.5–0.8; lavender essential oil 0.3–0.6; geranium essential oil 0.3–0.6; tea tree essential oil 0.2–0.4; petitgrain essential oil 0.2–0.4; juniper essential oil 0.1–0.2; bergamot essential oil 0.1–0.2; ylang-ylang essential oil 0.1–0.2. Method of using said hair growth agent comprises applying the agent to the scalp at least twice a week before shampooing, rubbing in for at least 15 minutes, covering hair for 2 hours with provision for air exchange, after which the agent is washed off with warm water with a detergent. Above hair product and method are effective for hair growth, enable to have a complex effect on the growth and condition of the hair along the entire length, the hair follicle and the hair shaft, scalp condition, stimulate improvement of trichological and trichometric parameters of hair quality.

EFFECT: exposure to the agent reduces the factors of diffuse alopecia: disturbed microcirculation of the scalp and hair follicle, as well as a lack of microelements, however excludes the use of skin irritants.
