FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: threaded connection for hammering connected tubular elements into soil, such as a coastal section or sea bottom, for the purpose of exploration and extraction of raw material from a hydrocarbon well, comprises a nipple and a coupling. Threaded part of the nipple and the threaded part of the coupling are made with possibility of engagement with each other during the rotary assembly of the threaded connection. Nipple comprises sealing surface located between nipple nose and threaded part of nipple. Coupling comprises elastomeric sealing element located between inner shoulder and threaded part of coupling. Sealing surface and elastomeric sealing element are made with possibility of formation of radial seal in final assembly of threaded connection. Method includes driving connected tubular elements after final assembly of threaded connection, in which during driving the nipple is placed on top of the coupling.
EFFECT: higher reliability of threaded connection and method of hammering connected tubular elements.
