FIELD: pipelines.
SUBSTANCE: threaded connection (1) contains nipple (10) and coupling (20). Nipple (10) comprises nipple shoulder surface (11), nipple sealing surface (12) and male thread (13). Coupling (20) comprises coupling flange surface (21), coupling sealing surface (22) and female thread (23). Male thread (13) and female thread (23) represent wedge threads. When connection is fixed, surface (11) of collar of nipple contacts with surface (21) of coupling collar, embedded side and support side of male thread (13) contact with embedded side and support side of female thread (23) respectively, and seal surface (12) of nipple contacts with sealing surface (22) of coupling. Collar angle makes 4° or more. Collar angle is the angle formed by each of surfaces (11, 21) of the collar with the plane perpendicular to the axis (CL) of the pipe when the connection is not fixed.
EFFECT: invention relates to a threaded joint for steel pipes with improved sealing properties.
