FIELD: organic chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to organic chemistry, specifically to a method of producing arylaminocyclotriphosphazenes (AAP), used as fire retardant and hardener of epoxy oligomers for thermosetting polymer compositions. Method of producing AAP comprises replacing chlorine atoms in hexachlorocyclotriphosphazene (HCP) with a group, selected from methylanilines, in the presence of triethylamine in an amount equimolar to the used methylaniline and is characterized by the fact that the reaction is carried out at a molar ratio of HCP:methylaniline of 1:6.1 in 1,4-dioxane at T=100 °C for 10 hours or diglyme at temperature of 150 °C for 5 hours. After that, the reaction mass is filtered and AAP is precipitated in water, then the solvent is distilled off and the target AAP is washed, in the case of using 3- and 4-methylanilines with a solution of dichloromethane-petroleum ether or a water-ethanol solution, in the case of using 2-methylaniline.
EFFECT: providing a method for synthesis of end products without multiple washing with water and with lower consumption of methylanilines.
