SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of testing devices for tightness and can be used for testing for tightness of sealing membrane (2) attached to heat-insulating barrier (1), which lies on a sealed bearing surface (13). Essence: first strip (17) of sealing mastic is applied on sealing membrane (2). Second strip (18) of sealing mastic is applied on bearing surface (13) around sealing membrane (2). Tight coating (12) is placed on first strip (17) of sealing mastic and on second strip (18) of sealing mastic so that on one side tight coating (12) is tightly connected to sealing membrane (2), and on the other side the tight coating is tightly connected to bearing surface (13). Sealed coating (12) includes a tarpaulin from a polymer film. Tight coating (12), bearing surface (13), first strip (17) of sealing mastic, second strip (18) of sealing mastic and sealing membrane (2) together form closed space (19). Pressure is released in closed space (19) relative to environment outside this space (19). Pressure change inside closed space (19) after depressurisation is measured.
